The Museum of Collectibles & Curiosities has two primary purposes – to pay tribute to the artistic output and collecting interests of Patricia Brown who died in 2012, AND also to create a small charming high quality museum for the Austin community – for enjoyment and learning.  Patricia would have especially appreciated the Museum’s emphasis on capturing the artistic interests, talents, and imagination of children through programming with schools and after-school programs.

Time spent in a museum such as our Museum of Collectibles & Curiosities, whether online or in person, with its diverse and eclectic array of curious, playful, utilitarian and ephemeral objects, is fascinating to adults and especially to children.
